Collaborative Economy is a direction in which modern economy follows. It is based on exchange of products, services, experiences or skills between people. One of phenomena in collaborative economy is sharing economy known by many as crowdfunding platforms, services such as Uber, Airbnb or BlaBlaCar. Collaborative Economy is built on distributed network of connected units and communities based on distributed power. This leads to blurring of boundaries between producers and consumers, allowing radival transformation of how we produce, use, finance and learn. In Poland, the concept of collaborative economy is still new. One of the first scientists doing research on this phenomenon in Poland is Prof. Bolesław Rok, expert of Institute of Innovative Economy.
